Park, Sleep and Fly at Warsaw Chopin Airport
Chopin Airport publishes a full price list for its car parks, which makes the park-sleep-fly sum easy: a week in the long-stay P4 is 440 PLN, a night at a hotel with cheaper parking can undercut a week in P2, and the hotels with shuttles turn the car park into part of the package. The numbers below come from the airport’s list and the hotels’ own sites.
The airport’s car parks
Express, on the arrivals level, is for pick-ups: 15 PLN for 30 minutes, 45 PLN for an hour, 350 PLN for 24 hours, maximum stay 24 hours. Kiss & Fly is free for up to seven minutes, 40 PLN for 7 to 15 minutes. Komfort, the covered car park by the terminal, is 310 PLN for a day and 910 for a week. P2, the multi-storey opposite the terminal, is 20 PLN an hour, 200 for a day and 800 for a week, with the first day charged after ten hours. P3, uncovered, is 200 a day and 680 a week. P4, the long-stay uncovered and secured car park, is 260 for the first day, 440 for a week and 30 PLN for each further day. The metered APCOA car parks P44 to P48 further out start at 90 to 110 PLN a day and 210 to 230 a week. Valet parking is 280 PLN for a day and 880 for a week, with the car collected at the terminal.
Park and fly at the hotels
The Airport Hotel Okęcie is the natural choice: 220 spaces, an underground garage at 70 PLN a day and an outdoor car park at 50, a park-and-fly package on its own site, and a free shuttle that runs 24 hours to the terminal 800 m away. A night plus a week’s outdoor parking comes to less than a week in P2 and includes the bed.
The Sound Garden Hotel Airport has a 130-space garage at 80 PLN a day, free from Friday 5:00 pm to Monday 8:00 am, which makes a weekend trip cheap; there is no shuttle, so the last leg is a 20 PLN taxi or bus 175. The Hampton by Hilton Warsaw Airport charges 120 PLN a day for 94 spaces and runs a free shuttle. The Campanile PRIME Warsaw Airport and Première Classe Warsaw Airport have covered and underground parking and are one bus stop from the terminal.
At the walk-in hotels, parking is priced like the airport’s own: the Courtyard by Marriott Warsaw Airport charges 20 PLN an hour or 200 a day and the Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel 24 an hour or 200 a day, so for a week it is cheaper to sleep there and leave the car in P4.
Working it out
For one night and a long trip: hotel night plus P4 (440 PLN a week), walking or shuttling to the terminal. For a night and a short trip of two or three days: the Okęcie’s own car park at 50 PLN a day beats every airport option. For a drop-off without staying: Kiss & Fly for seven minutes, Express for anything longer.
