Free Hotel Shuttles at Warsaw Chopin Airport
Only four of the eleven hotels at Chopin Airport run a free bus, and they run it in four different ways. Two hotels are close enough to walk, and the rest rely on city buses 175 and 188 or a taxi. What follows is who runs what, checked against each hotel’s own site in September 2026.
Hotels with a free shuttle
The Airport Hotel Okęcie has the only round-the-clock service. From the hotel, the silver-grey bus leaves for the airport every 30 minutes, on the hour and half hour, 24 hours a day. From the airport it runs on request: collect your bags, phone the hotel, and wait at its transfer desk on the departures level, first lane, Sector D, which you reach from arrivals by turning left and going up one level; waiting time is up to 25 minutes. The bus has Wi-Fi and the ride is 800 m.
The Hampton by Hilton Warsaw Airport, 1 km from the terminal on the same street, lists a complimentary airport shuttle taking less than five minutes. Departures are scheduled rather than on demand, so ask reception for the timetable and the airport pick-up point when you book.
The ibis Styles Warszawa Airport, 3.5 km away at Poleczki 31, runs a free bus in two windows, 3:30 am to 12:10 pm and 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, to a car park at the airport about six minutes on foot from the terminal entrance rather than to the door. Outside those hours the hotel suggests Bolt.
The Mercure Warsaw Airport on Aleja Krakowska offers a free airport transfer arranged with reception in advance ([email protected]); it is a booked pick-up, not a bus on a loop, so send flight details with the reservation.
Hotels you walk to
The Courtyard by Marriott Warsaw Airport faces the terminal across the airport road, three minutes with a case, and the Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel is about 500 m and five minutes along Żwirki i Wigury. Neither runs a shuttle; both share the terminal’s railway station and bus stops.
Hotels on the city bus
The Campanile PRIME Warsaw Airport and Première Classe Warsaw Airport are one stop from the airport on buses 175 and 188 at Komitetu Obrony Robotników, about five minutes; the Sound Garden Hotel Airport and Novotel Warszawa Airport are at the Novotel stop on the same lines. None lists a shuttle on its own site; booking platforms have mentioned a morning bus at the Novotel, which the hotel does not confirm, so ask. The Golden Tulip Warsaw Airport on Aleja Krakowska is a ten-minute taxi.
Tips
Give the hotel your flight number when you book any shuttle; the two on-request services need it. Overnight, only the Okęcie bus runs, and the city buses stop, so a late arrival at the Campanile complex means a taxi of about 20 to 30 PLN. For fares and the 75-minute ticket, see the airport to city centre guide.
